About Us

Our Story

Zarpentine farm has been in our family since the 1830s. In 2000, Rob and Kim (Francis) Zarpentine took over management of the family farm and helped to build this community staple to what it is known as today. Family-friendly events such as the pancake breakfast and corn maze became a tradition for many families for years. The siblings worked hard to create and improve the family recipes and turned them into the delicious baked goods everyone knows and loves. In 2014, the siblings decided to take a break and form their own bakery named R&K Zarpentine bakery and continued to explore their passion for baking. In 2024, Rob and Kim's father decided to retire and they were asked to come back and run the farm once again. We are so excited to be back and serving our wonderful community, we hope you will stop and see us.

"A Delightful Experience at Zarpentine Farms!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Zarpentine Farms where Kim and Rob continue to impress me with their amazing fry cakes and fritters.  From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made my experience truly special.
The fry cakes were perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully fluffy on the inside.  The flavors were wonderful and it was clear that Kim and Rob put a lot of love into their baking. Their fritters were equally delightful and left me wanting more!
I can't recommend Zarpentine Farms enough.  If you're in the area make sure to stop by-I'm already looking forward to my next visit."
